Special awards were also presented to: Ross Bowen on
the occasion of his testimonial, Jimmy Marchant for his new club record
of appearances and catches, Glenn Chapman for his 100 against Newport
Fugitives and Jeremy Sparkes in recognition of his contribution to the
Club. Additionally, it was announced that the 3 founding memebrs still
involved with the Club were to be installed as Honorary Vice Presidents

his athletic catch against the Echo
Pork scratching moment: Bill Ward for his
'performance' in the final game on tour

- Willow League Plate Winners 2009
- Willow League Cup joint Winners 2008
(despite carrying over the final to 2009, rain - among other reasons
- meant the final could not be played before 2009 Cup competition
started and so the 2008 Cup was shared with South Glam)
- WIC-ket Winners 2008 (indoor cricket
league at Sophia Gardens)
- unbeaten in Willow League Cup during 2008 (four
attempts to play the final were postponed - an attempt will be made
early in 2009 before the new competition begins)
